Postdoctoral Fellow

Yorick Lassmann, Ph.D.

Yorick did his PhD with Dr. B. Curchod at the University of Bristol. He is an expert in excited states ab initio dynamics. He focuses on modelling of ultrafast processes initiated by X-rays, new ways to describe ultrafast electron dynamics and interpretation of synchrotron experiments.

Ph.D. Students

Ing. Karolína Fárníková

Karolína did her master degree at UCT Prague and worked on her master thesis at Heyrovsky Institute AS CR under supervision of Dr. E. Pluhařová. She has expertise in classical molecular dynamics of clusters and complex molecular systems such as proteins. Now she focuses on X-ray spectra modelling in liquid phase and on effective ways to include solvent in advanced simulations.

M.Sc. Students

Michal Novotný

Michal is co-supervised by Dr. P. Kovaříček and focuses on organic chemistry synthesis of photoswitches and modelling of switching, reactivity and design.

All B.Sc. and M.Sc. students are warmly welcome in A402! Please contact the group leader muchovae@vscht.cz.
